Gambling Clock

For this project we built a clock to go with our social issue. We were not allowed to include the times on the clock, and had to have creative hands for the physical clock. The time for the 2D clock had go with the theme, so I did 10-3am to represent the most common times gambling occurs.
Gambling is a significant social issue, with 80% of adult Americans gambling yearly, often unaware of its potential dangers. This project explores the hidden complexities of gambling addiction, from its financial toll to its impact on mental health and relationships. To communicate these issues, I designed conceptual clocks that symbolize the fleeting nature of time and the risks associated with gambling. Alongside my clocks, the class project includes a typographic poster and an image-based poster that emphasize the universal themes and collective message of our work. Together, these designs aim to raise awareness and spark conversations about the consequences of gambling in our society.
